How can I ensure the quality of my imports?
Experienced personnel in different regions can carry out quality assurance, pre-packing, pre-shipping and documentation inspections in the country of origin of your product. These inspections can be incorporated into the terms of the Purchase Contract.

Will my innovation be copied if I decide to export?

To have the protection of an individual country's legal system, patents, trademarks or copyrights must be registered in that country. But, sensible precautions and informed risk assessments can minimize this challenge. Having a company such as ours near to your supplier can be invaluable in discovering and resolving this type of situation. In addition, legal representation in the manufacturer's country can be retained to produce a contract meeting the innovation owner's needs and requirements.

How long does it take to source a product?
You should understand that sourcing takes time. Often the immediate solution is not the best solution. Expect 2-3 months minimum for the sourcing of new products. For some products, or if design of a new product is required, up to 12 months may be required until delivery of product.

Almost any manufactured item can be sourced in the Far East. The ones that will provide the most savings are those with high labor content and raw material content, although the increasing economic sophistication and education in the region means that savings can be found in almost any product.
